Any Lacrosse rain gauge modification for 0.25 mm ?

Does anybody know how to modify the Lacrosse rain gauge to permit 0,25 mm reading ?
(Obviously I will always have doubled readings on the panel but it will be more precise)

I have a LaCrosse WS3600.
The software is HeavyWeather (this station is compatible only with this software but made a software that read the history.dat file and write the data to an MsAccess database that I use for my web site).

Go to this link: http://www.steincs.de/ws/en/index.html  
and download the software. You can modify the rain gauge with this software. So the WS 3600 shows the correct measerment of the modified rain gauge. And the history file to.

Sorry, the software seems good, but don't work (always says date incorrect).
I have not been able to see it working......

I seem to have found a solution to the problem. Set your (Windows) International Settings to German and it will work. I'll contact Rainer about this bug.
