Camcorder as webcam

What about an analog HI8 camcorder?

Hi,

i´ve tried it with an old Canon Camcorder connected to a TV-Card. Software: VisionGS. The pictures are perfect - better than each webcam. The problem with my camera was: automatic power saving, that i cannot disable.
