ich könnte dir die zukommen lassen.

Ich habe von Werner gerade auch die 1.90 Exe-Datei zugeschickt bekommen,
Über die Station geflasht, danach ganz wichtig die Station neu konfiguriert (davor wurden die Werte weiterhin nicht angezeigt) und jetzt funktioniert es wieder!

Damit eine Warnung an alle die versuchen eine 6152EU, Datum 12.05.2006 Product#6312OV über 1.90 zu updaten. Das kann nach meiner Erfahrung jetzt mit einer fehlenden Barometerfunktion einhergehen.

Ich möchte mich beim Forum, bei Hartmut und ganz Besonders bei Werner bedanken!

Edit: Auch der Davis Support hat mir gerade bestätigt, dass die 1.90 die letzte Funktionierende Firmware ist.

I came to this post after ten days ago I tried to upgrade the firmware of my Davis VP2 wireless US console from version 3.00 to 3.88, by running on Windows the executable "VP2_Wireless_3_88.exe".
Communication between the upgrade executable and the console was set to TCP/IP on the local LAN, because I use the Davis ethernet datalogger, the so called WeatherLinkIP datalogger.

Unfortunately and unexpectedlty the process upgrade failed in the middle
Now the console is dead, that is no information on the display and no communication.

If I retry the 3.88 upgrade, it fails with message "Model number does not match!".
So I'm at a dead end!!!

I read that somebody rescued a dead VP2 console by running an old version of the Firmware Upgrade, the version 1.90.
Old firmware upgrade executable are no more available on the Davis web site and I wasn't smart enough to keep a copy of the old firmware upgrade programs.

I immediately wrote to Davis technical support (support@davisinstruments.com) if they could please send me the executable to write the old 1.90 firmware in my VP2 Wrireless console.
Unfortunately, despite repeated emails, I received no response

Is there anyone here who still has a copy of the 1.90 VP2W Console Firmware Upgrade executable and could kindly send it to me?
I would be really grateful.

Installer for v1.90 didn't worked, instead v3.12 worked, so now I have got my VP2w console fully operational again.
