For how long is the guarantee valid with WS2500?

Hallo!

Excuse me for only writing in English, not being able to manage the german language very well.

I bought the Wettercenter WS2500 in april 2004, at www.wetterdiscount.de. - Now the supplied wind sensor WS7000-15 is defect, and I would like to have it repaired. But the question is, do I have a 1 or 2-year guarantee?

i think you have 2 years. But I´m not sure.

Hi,
I think you have to distinguish the guarantee given by the manufacturer from the one issued by the retailer. As far as I know, the manufacturer´s guarantee expires after 2 years, but the retailer´s guarantee may be limited to one year. So you could at least still count on the manufacturer´s liability in case Wetterdiscount rejects your claim.
