ELV and LaCrosse?

Someone can tell me which differences are with LaCrosse and ELV?
Are the same station?

I'm often in germany for my work and I'm interested to buy a WeatherStation like the WS3600. I've saw that ELV are quitly used in Germany and Swisse so, maybe someone can tell me something more!

actually there is no difference between these stations. It makes no difference, whether you buy a LaCrosse or an ELV-Station.
But be careful - at the moment - with the WS 3600. There are problems with the station (firmware and software). Wait, till you here better news.

I've only another question, the firmware can be updated via software directly from heavyweather to remove the history.dat problem or it needs an hardware solution?
